I live a truly blessed life.

Sometimes I have to remind myself of this when my mind starts to wander. I am a gypsy at heart and often find myself dreaming about where my next adventure will be, what exciting thing I could be doing a week from now, a year from now, tomorrow.

It’s when I’m home that I’m reminded of just how wonderful each ordinary day is. Especially at the Holidays. Something about being with family, enjoying the little moments and not having anywhere to be that gives me a new perspective and a feeling of content.

Happy Birthday Little Roo!

I have to take a moment to say how thankful I am for this little pup. She turned a year old a couple of weeks ago! This little nugget has been such a blessing in my life and I can’t believe how much she’s grown up! There’s something about having a dog that loves you unconditionally and greets you with kisses every time you walk in the door. She’s truly been a blessing.

This year for Halloween, instead of carving the usual scary pumpkins, I decided it’d be a lot more fun to paint them! It was so much more fun… and honestly, a lot less messy! Also, instead of painting spooky themed pumpkins, I decided to paint something that wouldn’t need to be thrown out after Halloween… something that would be fun to have around in November.
